Assassins Creed 3 Liberation(branched from AC3) is a 2012 Action/Adventure open world video game sequel to the games Assassins Creed and Assassins Creed Brother Hood/2. The Franchise is owned and created by Ubisoft Montreal.
The Video game was released on Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Throughout the game, you play as your protagonist, Aveline De Grandpre, an assassin recruited late, to the creed during the end of the French and Indian war. ADG is the first female protagonist in the Assassins Creed series, sporting a wide range of customisation in clothing and weapons, like previous AC games. The setting is New Orleans, during the 18th century, and another fact about this input on the series is it includes the first protagonist with an ethnic (African-French) background. Controls stay true to the games predecessors. For example, if your a PS player, L2 would be held to climb, the analog sticks used to run etc. The same runs over to the Xbox Console in it's respective alternatives to PS Buttons. The gender, race and facial features of the protagonist are unable to be changed.
The aim of the game, like previous games, is to overthrow the Templars, from their control on society and free will. Multiplayer takes place on a simulated globe as players around the world fight to take control of key locations. Ubisoft is a Game Company that specialises in making open world Video games, along with some more linear, Mobile iOS and Android games.
